FAQ

Simulations Design and Facilitation

All Lean Zone simulations are designed as hands-on demonstrations.  The participants are actively engaged, and visually see the effects of the implemented changes on production. Simulations are designed for use by your training personnel and contain a facilitator manual that details how to run the simulation.

Do you accept purchase orders?

Yes we do please contact us for a quote if required or use the online store to determine shipping costs and send the PO to [email protected].

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide with the use of a credit card.

What is the shipping cost for this kit?

The cost of shipping will be determined during checkout using the shopping cart. The price will vary depending on the address and your choice of shipping method.

What is the difference between the simulations?

Two simulations are available for the production environment and one simulation for the office environment.
  • Lean Zone Production Methodologies teaches lean concepts applicable to any production setting.
  • Lean Zone Sub-Assembly demonstrates how a very large facility can be designed with synchronized work cells feeding into a final assembly work cell.
  • Lean Zone Office explains how to redesign an office paperwork process.

Add-On Simulation and Replacement Forms:
  • Lean Zone Agile Manufacturing simulation is an add-on to the Lean Zone Production Methodologies simulation
  • Lean Zone Office 3 Simulation Form Pack contains a replacement supply of forms for Lean Zone Office.

How many people do the simulations accommodate?

Lean Zone Production Methodologies is designed for 6 hands-on participants. Others can observe but it is our recommendation that you use 6 participants at a time. The hands-on participation provides a better learning experience.

Lean Zone Office is designed for 7 Hands-On Participants. Others can observe but it is our recommendation that you use 7 participants at a time.  The hands-on participation provides a better learning experience.

Lean Zone Sub Assembly is recommended for 7 participants at a time for the actual hands-on simulation. If you need to train more than the recommended number of participants at one time, than we recommend more than one simulation. Each additional simultaneous simulation will require a facilitator to assist during the hands-on exercise.

Will I need more than one kit?

Lean Zone Production Methodologies

The simulation only takes one hour, it is possible to schedule many simulations each day to accommodate large numbers of participants. If you need to train more than the recommended number of participants at one time, than we recommend more than one simulation. An experienced facilitator can run 2 simulations simultaneously. More than 2 will require additional assistance.

Lean Zone Office / Lean Zone Sub Assembly

If you need to train more than the recommended number of participants at one time, than we recommend more than one simulation. Each additional simultaneous simulation will require a facilitator to assist during the hands-on exercise.

Can I try out the Simulation (test run/practice run) before I make a purchase?

Yes. Please review the Money Back Guarantee for exact details.

Does the Simulation come in different languages?

All of the simulations come in English. We are currently working on translating to French and Portuguese. Please contact us for details or requests for other languages.

Are discounts available?

Discounts are only available if 10 or more simulations are purchased at one time. Please email [email protected] for the details of high-volume purchases. No educational discounts are currently available.
